Wasn’t April Fool’s Day at the beginning of the month? Apparently, this is legit. Majesco Entertainment announced today that it would be partnering with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia in an effort to start releasing video games based on Stewart’s portfolio of lifestyle content.

"Majesco Entertainment is well respected for bringing consumer-friendly titles to the mass market and has a proven track record of tapping the interests of family and non-traditional video game players," said Stewart. "Women are increasingly engaged in social gaming. We feel confident that this new offering will delight loyal customers who are active in the space while introducing a new generation to the brand."

We don’t know any details about Majesco’s planned projects just yet, but we’re imaging a version of Cooking Mama that features actual recipes and a haunting, soulless smile.

lol This is hilarious. Based on her "lifestyle content". I guess we might get a little GTA in there and get the opportunity to do a bit of securities fraud and obstruction of justice. lol Martha Stewart. As long as GI doesn't review these games I will be happy.

Hey, let's have a Martha Stewart game that's one half Cooking Mama, one half Prison Break. Basically, in order to escape from tax fraud, you have to figure out some way to poison a guard while on shift as prison cook, which will in turn start a prison riot, and then fight your way out of the prison and go on the lam.

I'd play THAT for a dollar...

Don't do that. Stick 'em w/ Bryan. Or better yet, make them both review the games. They're awesome as a duo. (even if they're way off base w/ Armored Core 4)
