Free Splinter Cell: Conviction DLC Coming Weekly

Dead daughter notwithstanding, Sam Fisher is a pretty lucky guy. Ubisoft is equipping him with new goodies every week, starting tomorrow. The company is planning to release free weekly DLC for the Splinter Cell: Conviction. According to Joystiq, the first batch includes the MP7A1 Machine Pistol, which looks like a middling piece of hardware. But it’s free! In coming weeks, players can download more weapons, player skins, and a new multiplayer map.

    @gamergirl89 Or how about we don't start a console war here and accept the fact that people have their preferred console for gaming. And gasp, some people actually play on ALL.

    Back on topic: Wonder what made them wan tot take the free option instead of bundling this and/or going the route of charging a "tiny" amount, like 80MS.

    Definitely nice though.

    And if I wasn't poor at the moment, i'd pick up Splinter Cell, LOL.  Maybe i'll trade in Borderlands...

    hope some sort of Spy vs Mercs comes in a dlc patch everntually, free or not as long as it comes back
