The lights are on
Bullet-who? The latest issue of Game Informer Magazine answers that question in a big way, with a world-exclusive look at People Can Fly’s upcoming shooter, Bulletstorm. As the name suggests, players will take on hideous mutants in a flurry of lead, all the while racking up combos that encourage variety over headshot after headshot. It’s impressive stuff, and after reading our 10-page feature you’ll have an idea why Epic Games bought a majority stake in People Can Fly after seeing it demoed for the first time. The May issue is packed with other features, including an in-depth look at Sony’s Move and a look at the terrifyingly prolific voice actor Nolan North. We also have an exclusive-filled Dead Rising 2 preview that highlights an all-new multiplayer mode. Let’s just say that reality-show spoof Terror is Reality is only the beginning. Avalanche Software is hoping to change the way we look at family games with its Toy Story 3 game, and we follow its development from the game’s initial pitch to a playable build. We’ve also got previews of F.E.A.R. 3, Fallout: New Vegas, and Transformers: War for Cybertron, to name a few. On the reviews front, highlights include Sam Fisher’s latest outing in Splinter Cell: Conviction, Metro 2033, and Super Street Fighter IV.
The May issue should be hitting mailboxes in the very near future.

I just realized after leaving my comment that the protaganist (I'm assuming) is doing some major multitasking. HAHA! He's shooting a guy, kicking another and using the force to choke another. Crazy!
Sounds like another awesome issue. Thanks GI!
ya... probibly wont play Bulletstorm
Why is it that the guy looks like he doesn't care whats going on around him? He looks a tad cross-eyed.
Another *** shooter makes the cover. >_>
Looks like a mix of Marcus from Gears of War and the main character in Enslaved. But that's just my crazy opinion.
hope the game is as good as the artwork
"Bulletstorm"? Seriously? I mean, why not "Fireguns" or "Shoot'em Dead"?
Tell me this guy isn't the main character. This is the guy you control for 10 minutes as a tutorial then his face gets crushed by a cinder block, right? There's no way I'm playing this game if I have to look at this steakhead for 20 hours. He looks like one of those roid-raged dudes who travel around the country ripping phonebooks in half for Jesus.
Seriously, change this guy now. Unless this is like a joke game or something then he works fine.
unimaginative enemies much?
This might be one of the few issues I'm more interested in the previews than the article reveal. I'm not gonna judge the game yet, but this better be, like you say, impressive enough to stand out.
so this is basically gears of war without the steroids and with a magic lasso?
exciting... Bionic Commando
Another shooter? Well, at least the Nolan North interview and Splinter Cell review are worth looking forward to.
Just got my issue yesterday. Love the cover!
It seems everyone on the net is after this metro 2033 game... with such a generic game it just took me by surprise!
Looks pretty cool.....but I guarantee that the guy on the cover will end up on 2010,s biggest dorks of the year.
