Professor Layton Anime Coming To DVD and Blu-ray
According to Anime News Network, the Japanese anime film based on Level5 and Nintendo's Professor Layton series, Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva, will be released in America for DVD and Blu-ray in September. The film was originally released in Japanese theaters this past December.
The movie's script was penned by Level5 president Akihiro Hino, who also served as the lead on all three of the Professor Layton games. The Professor and his sidekick Luke are voiced by respected actors Yo Oizumi (Howl's Moving Castle) and Maki Horikita (Densha Otoko series).
Manga Entertainment, the British company that is releasing the film in disc form, did suggest that the movie's title might be changed for the DVD and Blu-ray versions.
