Microsoft Holding Two E3 Press Conferences

A huge showing is in store for the Xbox 360 at E3 this year. Microsoft has so much to show, in fact, that their press conference has been splintered into two events, one showcasing Project Natal and a media briefing.

Microsoft will be holding the “World Premiere Project Natal for Xbox 360 Experience” on Sunday, June 13. The following day they’ll be holding their Xbox 360 Media Briefing.

An interesting note is that the Natal conference is all ages, whereas the media briefing is 18-plus. Does this mean that there could be an absence of mature-rated Natal games at E3 this year? Of course Game Informer will be there to give you the answer come June.

  • Im going to watch both.

  • They may save the actual games that are mature for the media briefing... or they may save them for later on down the road. Who knows?

  • Deus Ex 3!!!!!

  • I am going to see both on tv.  I can't wait to see what they have in store for the year!

  • I'll be watching E3 from bits of news, this is definitely a must know... what is behind the secret curtain?

  • Interesting.  Microsoft must have a lot to show for the Natal segment.

  • I can't wait to see what Microsoft Game Studios has in store for E3.

  • E3 ftw!

  • I just want to see the media briefing. Not that excited for 'Project Natal'..

  • i cant wait for E3, altho i am more interested in what Sony and Nintendo has in store

  • I will be checking out both but am  still a bit undecided on Natal.  Maybe this will help me out.

  • Yes!

  • I was under the assumption that Microsoft had been sleeping for the past couple of months compared to activity from Nintendo and Sony, I'm glad I was wrong. Though with natal being all ages, it kinda seems like they've taken a page on the safe side to attract the same demographic Nintendo garnishes from. Either way I'm exited, a good preview before the long summer drought to keep me hopeful.

  • Hm. I was a little taken aback at first, but this might actually be a good idea. This way, their main conference isn't over-saturated with Natal stuff when a significant portion of their audience isn't entirely interested. And those who are interested can watch both.

  • I'd love to play a game using Natal in which the player controls a character who plays games using Natal.

  • how do i get in on thisss

  • Everyone is going to be watching. E3 is to gamers like American Idol is to everyone else.

  • I wish I could watch these press conferences.

  • gears of war 3?

    killer instinct 3?

    awesome

  • What channel is this on?
