Valve Reveals L4D2 “The Passing” Details

While fans of zombie murder wait impatiently for Left 4 Dead 2’s upcoming DLC, The Passing, we have a few new features to reveal. Valve recently updated the Left 4 Dead 2 blog with a small list of the important elements being crammed into the new campaign.

You can expect:

Witch Bride
M60 machine gun
Golf club melee weapon
“The Fallen Survivor” uncommon common infected
Three out of four L4D 1 survivors (someone is kicking the bucket)
Brand new game modes.

We’re not one hundred percent sure what the new game modes and Witch Bride are all about, but we’re sure they’re awesome. Be sure to check out my hands-on impressions of The Passing’s sewer level. We'll update you on the official price and release date for The Passing as soon as my delicious brain is garnished with the information.

If you can’t already tell, I'm kind of a big fan of Valve’s undead FPS.

If I had to guess about the identity of the survivor who won't make it I'd guess Luis. I don't think they'd axe Zoey the only female in the original crew and Bill and Francis had a dynamic with each other. Luis just yelled alot and was not an interesting character at all.

I still maintain that it would not be Louis. That's the easy way out. It'll be someone the player actually cared about. Most likely Francis because he was one of the most liked.

So excited. L4D=mega uber awesomeness. Then again I wish they would tweak the melee weapons a bit...but thats neither here nor there.

I wish Valve would develop for the PS3 , I had fun with L4D 1 on my 360 , but I've moved on to the PS3 .
