  • a epic game about men without shirts hugging and showing off there tattoos.
  • I didnt like the UFC titles control set up. I wonder how this one plays.

  • That looks really awesome.

  • I've never been an MMA game fan, I wonder if they've improved on the experience as a whole, that's what never sold me

  • I wonder if one day EA is going to see random people, duplicate them, and give the new product a generic name like 'Average People: Living out Lives'   I mean, where do they stop?

  • "There's only one standing in my way." THQ's UFC Undisputed 2010?

  • The appeal in MMA is supposed to be the level of violence in a real life sport, right? Doesn't that not really translate or apply to a videogame about it? Eh nevermind... I already know these titles sell like crazy. Yay for fads and bros.

  • Yay, people hating on something they don't understand! How original of you guys, no I mean it!

Also several of the guys shown are real MMA fighters, not that I'd expect most of these posters to know that.

Anyway, knucklehead posts by people just wanting to comment on everything, especially when they have nothing to add aside:

I wish the vid focused more on the ground game, as this is the area where it sounds like EA's MMA might give THQ's UFC a run for its money; instead they mostly just show the striking stuff, and then mostly punches, which *surprise!* looks like Fight Night.

I know that this vid is designed to appeal more to a mass audience, but I think a key for this game is getting some of the gamers already looking to Undisputed 2010 onboard, which for me means delivering on some of the big talk that's come out about the game, specifically areas (like the ground game) where the devs have claimed this game will leave Undisputed in the dust. If they can't nail that stuff, I don't really see how they can win without a more major MMA brand attached, as the "general audience" in the US doesn't know MMA outside of UFC.

  • THQs UFC game was aweful! I like how you can take 25 straight headkicks and keep on throwing punches...THQs Rockem Sockem Robots 2010.

    Hopefully EA does it right.

  • Looks vastly superior to the UFC titles.

  • This looks sick but will it stand up to UFC?

  • This looks sick but will it stand up to UFC?

  • It's too bad Brock Lesnar isn't in this game becauses I would enjoy maneuvering Fedor's *** across his face for the KO.

  • Looks leagues better than UFC. Hopefully it plays better.

  • Fedor is God. Nuff said.

  • This looks a little too arcade-y for me.

  • Noticed something I didn't think about in the differences with UFC: different venues and ring layouts. I like the thought of seeing some changes in where you're fighting throughout your career.

  • so lame ughh

  • Looks good, but how does it control?

  • coming out in "late 2010" isn't going to help this title win the war against THQ's entry. they will miss the window this year(may) and the roll out for UFC 2011 will be far enough past the release that a majority of fans of the genre will purchase it again. way to drop the ball EA.
