THQ Releases UFC Undisputed 2010 Trailer, Details Ultimate Fight Mode

Mixed martial arts fans are in for a hell of a fight come May, especially if you own a PlayStation 3. THQ reveal five exclusive PS3 bouts for UFC Undisputed 2010, along with the three Sony-exclusive pugilistic legends. Additionally, watch a new trailer featuring UFC fighter BJ Penn, a determined warrior of the octagon who was “born with a storm inside him.” And I thought heartburn was rough…



An evolution of UFC 2009’s Classic Fights Mode, the new Ultimate Fights Mode takes players back in time to experience the legendary bouts that became more than just grown men striking one another. Ultimate Fights Mode assigns challenges and categories that allow players to identify the type of fight they’re beginning, so they’re not caught with their pants down when the bell rings. Once you're in the octagon, you can turn the tides of history by overcoming the odds as the losing fighter.

THQ is granting Xbox 360 owners 15 Ultimate Fights, while the Sony loyal are receiving 20. Here are the exclusive fights destined for the PlayStation 3 version:

Ultimate 2009 Category
UFN 18 – Carlos Condit vs. Martin Kampmann

Ultimate Knockouts Category
UFC 102 – Nate Marquardt vs. Demian Maia

Ultimate Classics Category
UFC 60 – Matt Hughes vs. Royce Gracie
UFC 66 – Keith Jardine vs. Forrest Griffin

Ultimate Submissions Category
UFC 68 – Martin Kampmann vs. Drew McFredries

The three fighters exclusive only to PS3 users are Royce Gracie (blue trunks), Dan Severn (gray shorts), and Jens Pulver (red and blue trunks). Check out their highly toned and sculpted character models in the media gallery below.

    I'm not really into fighting games, but the graphics and sequences are looking better for every game that comes out. Basically, I'm tempted to spend some money . . .

    these games are so bad ass u guys should try em out. They're like wrestling mixed with boxing and fighting(Street Fighter, MK, etc.). Really fun.

    Wow, THQ was really generous in creating the "physique" of these guys.  Pretty rocked up compared to their actual counterparts.  I wish that I wanted this game, but I don't.

    Also, that guy in gray short shorts is really creeping me out.
