MGS: Peace Walker Sneaks Onto PSPs In June

by Tim Turi on Mar 16, 2010 at 10:15 AM

The official ship date for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker has experienced as much drama as one of the series' endgame codec conversations. First we had May 25 to look forward to. Then it was delayed, which creator Hideo Kojima called a "great crime." Finally, Konami has confirmed that the continuation of Big Boss' saga will hit shelves on June 8.

Peace Walker is a direct sequel to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, continuing the journey of pre-villain Big Boss. However, if you go by standard cartoon cliches, you could say that Naked Snake was destined to become a bad guy the moment he got his eye patch. You don't see a whole lot of good heroes missing one eye and scowling.

There's a ton of games out right now, and the releases just keep coming throughout 2010. Are you going to take a breather from the triple-A console games to break out your PSP and revisit Metal Gear on June 8?
