The lights are on
Sony is giving people the chance to get hands-on time with its Move controller for the first time at GDC. The Shoot is one of the titles being used to showcase the motion controller, and it's a solid demonstration of Move's capabilities. The concept is about as simple as it gets, giving players a gun and rooms full of robots to blast apart. Players can ratchet up the multiplier by stringing together kills, and certain gestures activate special moves.
Take a look at the game in the media gallery below.Be sure to check out the GDC 2010 hub page for quick access to more news and hands-on impressions from the event.

Oh man, I wonder if I can trade in my Wii and games for a PS3 and Move...
Hurray. Another boring rail-type shooter. Actually, from the description, it doesn't even sound like you move around. Just sit stationary and shoot.
While it may "show off" the capabilities, this isn't what PS3 owners want. Wii already has this type of game (albeit less precise). Give us something new.
Oblivion style game? Yes.
Good old FPS games? Yes.
Fighting games? Yes.
Duck hunt? No thanks.
Personally I couldn't care less for the motion controllers. I just hope the other consoles don't fall into the same trap as the wii and we're grinding through piles of crap-ware for the "casual" gamers.
Will it be like Time Crisis, where you have to beat the wave of enemies before progressing or like Wii Play, where you shoot like crazy to rack up a high-score?
I want to get a feel for this game before paying $60 bucks, that I may regret spending.
@BMW: Time Crisis is exactly what I was thinking, if Time Crisis was made for the PS3 Move...
Keep in mind people who are complaining, it's not just some standalone game that they're putting out there for a quick buck, it's just a small game that showcases the controls in a fun old-style shooter way.
Even though it's really simple, it still looks like it would be fun to revisit these shooters in a small game. Since it might come in the Move bundle, then it'll be a lot of fun to play since it'll come with the package.
pretty cool, but i m not that convinced to use my bucks 4 that
iam excited for this one!
Based on the screenshots, this looks like it could be a fun game.
