New Screens For EA’s Medal of Honor Reboot

EA managed to get us excited for Medal of Honor again when it announced that the series would finally be seeing some modern-day combat. Finally out from the shadow of WWII, the next installment will be set in Afghanistan. These new screenshots bolster our hopes that MoH is getting back on the rails. While EALA is handling the single-player experience, developer DICE (Battlefield: Bad Company 2) will be contributing the multiplayer component.

We’re still waiting to get our hands on this one, but things are looking good at this early stage. Anyone think Medal of Honor can give Modern Warfare a run for its money?

  • It all started with MOH...  This comeback to the series will definately give Modern Warfare a run for their money.

  • can't wait. been stuck on battlefield bc2 since the demo dropped. MoH is looking to fall right under the same category too. w00p.

  • It could top Modern Warfare especially now that Activision has dropped Infinity Ward! As long as they create a compelling story and functioning AI this would be something I would be willing to play.

  • If it includes multiplayer from DICE, than of course it's going to be popular. Medal of Honor will soon take it's rightful place.

  • This is going to be quite the year for first person shooters. I think this will be more of a rivarly between Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor. I think that MW2, although it was sucessful at it's release date, won't be able to keep up with the Medal of Honor and Battlefield franchises...just my opinion.

  • The screens dont look as attractive as other FPS out there.

And if DICE is doing the multyplayer then I should just get BF:BC2.

  • I really like the MOH series. It's like a TEEN version of CoD. Hope this modern type game is good since their only known for WWII games.

  • Looks good! I might actually be buying this game.

  • with infinity ward down this might steal the limelight.  (get ready for call of duty 3... 2)

  • wont be too hard to give mw2 a run with all the glitchers you know who u are losers my famous make sure all ur kids dont grow

  • AWESOME!!!!!! i used to love playing this game, it was the FIRST FPS I ever played, it was so awesome, i'm glad to see there bringing the series back, can't wait to play multi-player, this will DEFINATLY give MW2 a scare, EA now has 2 good FPS franchises, they will definatly come out ahead in the FPS battle.

  • Looks pretty cool! I'm looking forward to it.

  • i like the coloration, lookin good so far

  • Really looking forward to the new trailer on GTTV Saturday morning.

  • I'm just glad we're FINALLY getting past WWII!  Medal of Honor is set to make a comeback!

  • There were so many FPS games that had to do with modern warfare. But the attention grabber was Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, then it was Battlefield BC2. So many of the old FPS games are going to give each other a fierce competition

  • With multiplayer from a company with a good track record and a great story to go along with it.  Yeah, it looks like it will have a shot assuming the fanboys give it a shot.

  • MoH will definitley make Activision scared, these guys knew what they were doing from the start and hope they can pull off their same talent now.

  • Im a war game junkie so ill be getting this too.
