The lights are on
Following another strong showing on the Feburary NPD charts, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 now owns the third spot on the highest-selling games of all time list. Infinity Ward's blockbuster sold another 567,000 units across Xbox 360 and PS3 in the month of February, only down slightly from January's 586,700 sales. This puts it just shy of ten million copies life-to-date, according to NPD. According to the research firm, the top two slots (no numbers provided) are taken by Wii Play and Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. It should be noted that NPD's records only go back to 1995, so don't get too up in arms about Mario's apparent snub.Charting ahead of newer titles Dante's Inferno and Mass Effect 2, Modern Warfare 2 is continuing to sell extremely well despite its well-publicized online issues. The stakes just keep getting higher and higher for the lawsuit between the former Infinity Ward heads and IW parent company Activision.If you had your way, what would the top three best-selling games of all time be?

Assassin's Creed, MW2, Dragon Age. Of all current games of course.
This is indicative of how much MONEY it has earned not the amount of copies I mean 10 million was reported for Halo 3 before even ODST came out (to be fair it has been out way longer) but all the problems with MW2 has turned everyone I know away from this series they now play battlefield or Halo 3 waiting for Reach plus I think both GTA: San Andreas Super Mario (1) and Wii sports have all sold more than double this amount.
Aside from the rant my 3 would be
FF8 , KOTOR , and MW2 (I know right? Especially after that rant)not in any particular order.
Fallout 3 is way to glitchy to even be up there.
