The lights are on
We knew Heavy Rain was a great game; what we didn’t know was how well the public would receive it. Fortunately for developer Quantic Dreams, Heavy Rain is selling very well.
According to NPDs February sales numbers, Heavy Rain has already sold more than 219,000 units, making it the tenth best selling title of the month. What makes this feat even more impressive is that the game didn’t come out until February 23rd, so it actually sold that many units in less than a week.

Thank god, I was afraid the trend of innovative games with low sales was going to continue. Nice to see one reaping a well earned reward.
Deadly Premonition is more FUN. It doesn't have higher production values but I actually had fun playing it plus when the guy lost his kid in the crowd I didn't feel any "terror" and during the love scene I didn't feel like crying and anyone who says they did should probably be put on medication or into an asylum because they are seriously emotionally damaged.

Innovation (in this case)= Forcing you to trudge through a story with a twist so bad M. Night Shayamalan said "I would rather make movies based on Nick shows than be compared to this s***."
This is good to see, hopefully it continues in March though.
Also this is good news for team ICO who frequently have amazing games that are severely underrated. Can't wait for Last Guardian now.

Regardless as to weather you liked the game or not it's always a good thing to see a game that does things new do well. If very game that breaks the mold flops then the consumer looses, there very well may be better games out there but there's no cause to discredit this one simply out of short sighted spite.
Great news hope to get my copy soon. Looks like a great innovative game.

X. It's great news given how different this game, supposedly it's been doing pretty well in Europe as well. This game was an emotionally gripping journey and I'm looking forward to replaying it again.
Glad to hear that people went out and supported Heavy Rain. I'm short on money right now or I would go get it myself.

could have been higher but no one wants to play that when battlefield: bad company 2 is out
I'm very happy with my purchase. After completing it through the first time I thought I would know what would happen on subsequent plays, but that certainly isn't the case. I'm glad it's doing well in sales.

I own an Xbox a Wii and a Ps3 but my Ps3's laser broke and Sony wanted $250 to fix it.
That was after I had played this game and it is garbage its a shame I won't be able to play GoW3 looks great.
