Both GameStop and Best Buy have announced plans to hold midnight launches for God of War III on the night of March 15.If you plan on going sleepless that night ripping the guts out of centaurs, both Best Buy and GameStop have online lists indicating which stores will hold the launch events.While Best Buy hasn't released any details as to what types of events will take place before midnight, GameStop stores will feature the following cures to line boredom:-"Chose your Deity” costume contest-Trivia challenges-God of War II game challenges Anyone picking up God of War III at midnight?[GameStop is the parent company of Game Informer]

I need to get God of War 1 and 2 before I check this out. And I need to get a PlayStation before I do any of that.
I'm going to wait to pick this up later, unless someone cancels their Ultimate Edition preorder. I still haven't gotten through the fist two on the PS3. And with Final Fantasy and the Dragon Age expansion to play as well, I won't have time for this, as much as it saddens me.
After GI giving this a ten, I canit wait.

im only going to the midnight release for one reason...cuz i was late on pre-ordering the ultimate edition (yes i kick myself for that) the guy that works at my nearest gamestop said that SOME people might downgrade (which i doubt it) so if that happens he'll hold it for me...its already paid off i would just have to pay the rest if i do get the ultimate edition...so i'm keeping my fingers crossed...

If I could find a PS3 to buy I would. What gives? Why isn't there a PS3 to buy anywhere? This game finally convinced me to buy one and I can't find a new PS3 anywhere.
