First Screens From Sony's Gritty Motion Fighter

One of the games Sony showed off in its hand-on press event last night was the street brawler Motion Fighter. Players take on a variety of thugs using one of the PlayStation 3's Move controllers in each hand. Depending on how players move, they can throw punches or defend, and even use a variety of dirty tricks like headbutts.

Check out the first screens from the game below.

  • Like that old boxing arcade game, only without the 5lb gloves heh. I had some fun with that back in the day..

  • Apparently Sony has forgotten the lessons of Parappa the Rapper. Real fighters are able to kick.

  • the color scheme sorta makes it look boring

  • looks amazing.  now all they need to do is port every game worth a *** on the wii, but crumble up the wii and throw it away.  zelda on ps3 ftw!!!!

  • @kittenkilla: ...no haha

and this looks bad@$$, I would at least give it a spin when it comes out

  • This looks like it should be Def Jam: Wii...Sony, you lost me.

  • I love how the new motion controls coming out for PS3 and 360 are getting bashed.  What is the reason? Because all these lazy *** gamers don't want to do any more work than move their thumbs on a *** controller.

  • God, now we have to put up with gimmicky motion crap from Sony AND Nintendo. At least Sony has manly gimmicky crap

  • it looks like Def Jam without the rappers.

  • Creepy

  • Looks good, and with Sony's Move incorporated it will be interesting to see how accurate the controls will be. Keeping my eye out for this one.

  • pretty cool, hope we still have the option to use the controller though

  • Wii Boxing HD.

  • The screens look awesome, out of all the games showcasing the Move, I would love to have this. It looks so gritty and dark, and it just seems to fit the game. Too bad it will probably be a short game since it's just showing off the Move's abilities.

  • Looks cool hope Natal has something similar
