Clash of the Titans: fodder for sarcasm

Movie-based games suck. 99% of the time, it's not a good game compared to the majority on the market.

Everyone knows this game is destined for no higher than 3/10.  Movie games suck, and so does Game Republic.  They helped put the PS3 in the toilet at launch, which required Insomniac to bail the system out.

I hope you guys really dont think that Clash of the Titans is a GOW rip off. The original movie was made decades ago, and was great. I am a huge fan of GOW series but when it comes down to it, I bet if you ask the GOW team, they would say that the Clash of the Titans and other movies like it were what they based GOW off of. I think if you are a GOW fan that you would be happy to see Greek mythology put in other games and movies.

its being done by a japanese company so there is hope for this license..i do hope tho someone picked it up before and made an awesome game like gow with it...

IDIOT!  They don't really think that...unlike Ben, who really does think Aliens vs. Predator sucks because the classic gameplay elements like dizzying alien controls are really gameplay deficiencies.  Gibbs-slap for Ben, at once!  (oh wait, I actually agree w/ Ben [for once] about the lameness of AVP the game)

That's the issue w/ written sarcasm...attempting to be sublte often results in too much of that quality, thus fooling a large segment of the population into thinking they're serious, and therefore idiots.

Although, then again, I got straight away that they didn't really think CotT was "GoW, the movie"-due to the fact that similar such statements in the past, and even right next to CotT in issue 203(ie Hot Tub Time Machine, which might as well be a Spike series following out of Blue Mountain State), have defied what I know about history and such, which led me to the much more logical conclusion that they were sarcastic jokesters, not idiots.

It is a shameless God of War ripoff.As anyone who say the commercials during the Olympics can tell you.

I'm hoping this is good enough. Game Republic did Genji, so they have some action-adventure chops. And the movie looks great. Hopefully it'll be a solid enough game, though it's really unfortunate that it had to come out so close to God of War III...

Lol I saw the premiere for the first time and thought they made a God of War movie.

The graphics to this game look like characters from Dragonage and scenery from Oblivion. It'll have to be a real good game to get my attention. Currently I'm out of gaming money due to Heavy Rain, FF 13, and GoW 3. I also already pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption( *** it got delayed) and Mafia 2( double *** it got delayed for Playboy covers).If I get any money then I'm either going to get Max Payne 3, L.A. Noire, or take Gran Turismo 5 or The Last Guardian off my Christmas list.

Looks like that guy from stars wars fallout 3 style.

Well it might be a rent but they usually suck,Then again look at X-Men origins Wolverine.that was actually pretty cool.

There is one hell of a storm surrounding Clash Of The Titans, God of War, and Dante's Inferno. I'm suprised that the GI staff didn't know that all three of these things ripped off Avatar... and Nicholas Cage...

Actually looks like a solid game, despite not having received much credit so far. I'm interested to see how the control scheme looks
