The lights are on
Shaun White has already proven he's the king of the mountain when it comes to snowboarding, and now his infectious personality is spreading to a Ubisoft skateboarding game set to release this holiday.
Although White's more known for his prowess as a snowboarder, he's also a professional skateboarder to boot, so this move isn't necessarily just a cash in. Ubisoft Montreal is developing the game for unspecified consoles, and there are few details regarding the title at the moment.
Shaun White's snowboarding titles weren't the greatest, but with Activision's Tony Hawk franchise having jumped the shark and EA's Skate series considered too hardcore by some, perhaps Shaun White can carve out a niche for himself in the sub-genre.

I've never played these skateboarding games, but I'm definitely tired of hearing about them. I can't recall a decent one in the last few years.

For some reasons, I just imagine how they're gonna reveal it at E3 with the Nintendo CEO talks about how she broke her arm once when skateboarding, and then White appears and performs some tricks on the Wii board.
Is that a girl skateboarding or is it just carrot top? Oh wait... it's both.

Lol, Shaun White Snowboarding was kind of tedious after a while, and there are too many stupid skateboarding games out there at teh moment. He sure did pick a strange genre to get into.
When recent skate boarding games fail, what else is there to do? - snowboarding! And, of course, like Tony Hawk, Shaun White is another icon to boost sales.

Shaun White is GOD of snowboarding, but I didn't even had any idea he skateboarded. Sounds like something I really shouldn't be too excited for, I'd rather get Skate 3.
@dsplayer if what you are saying is that Shaun White isn't a skateboarder you are mistaken on top of being a pro snowboarder he is also a pro skateboarder.

Yeah, three skateboarding franchises is a little much. I'm happy with Skate 2. I can't wait for Skate 3 though!
