Sin & Punishment: Star Successor Looking Tough In New Screens & Trailer

Sin & Punishment 2 may have been renamed Sin & Punishment: Star Successor, but it's still looking as brutal as ever. The latest screens and video of the upcoming Wii title showcase the blistering challenge and unrelenting action that's coming June 7.

Star Successor's free-flying combat is looking better than ever in the trailer above. The screens and character art in the media gallery below also show off the game's very solid-looking visuals (especially for a non-HD console).

Is this game on your radar? Has anyone played the first Sin & Punishment on Virtual Console?

  • absolutely, it's on my list for the spring.  should be as good as the original, which i've played by the way.

  • It looks pretty wild.

  • Awesome, that's a lot of bosses, also the music is very catchy.

  • I haven't played the first yet. Gotta get it on the VC cuz this looks crazy good.

  • I loved the first, so I am definitely going to buy the second.

  • I have played the first and loved it. Yet i still haven't beaten the final boss....

  • interesting. I might check it out

  • yes,and no.

  • it even has an N64 like feel mixed with Brawl, looks really cool actually

  • the character's faces looks almost the same.

them being ugly little brats :)

  • Wow, reminds me of a lot of the games from a couple generations ago. Very original for this age, I like it. Hopefully my little bro will get it for his Wii and I could play it when I am back home for a while from college.

  • Looks cool. The first one was pretty fun and had an alright challenge to it but the controls were slightly sloppy though it didn't lessen the fun too much.

This sequel looks similar but I hope on rails doesn't mean 3 hour game. The original is well worth the $10 you spend on virtual console but will this sequel be worth $50? How many modes does it have?

Between this game, Galaxy 2, Other M, and possibly a new Zelda this year (hopefully their Holiday big release?) the Wii is having one helluva year.

Oh and No More Heroes 2 deserves another mention even though its out already. Go Wii?

  • the voice acting is bad but beyond that it looks like fun.

  • I miss games like this: very fun and addictive with a small learning curve.

  • I might have to check this one out but nintendo needs to bring back star fox
