The lights are on
If you’ve had your eyes peeled on Game Informer since the site’s relaunch, you’re already very familiar with Disney Interactive’s upcoming Epic Mickey (check out our Epic Mickey hub page for tons of features). While originally touted as a Wii exclusive, word has surfaced from the Las Vegas DICE summit regarding the title going multi-platform at some point in the future."The key mechanic [in Epic Mickey] is an ink and paint mechanic", said Disney executive Graham Hopper, regarding the game’s intrinsic link to motion control."We have a very large audience base that has Wiis in their home", he continued. Graham also said "that's not to say that we won't go to other platforms [in the future].
Considering both the 360 and PS3 are getting motion control this year, it seems only natural that Disney would consider releasing the game for the consoles. Further strengthening this possibility, Hopper goes on to say "If we started it six months ago we would have potentially thought differently about it." He's likely referring to the developments of Project Natal and Sony's motion control here. It’s no secret that the Wii’s third-party “hardcore” titles haven’t done so well in the past. Could it be that Disney sees exclusivity on the console as a losing situation? What do you think?Source: CVG

Well there goes the possible idea of a non Mario or Zelda strong Wii exclusive.
This is good news. Hate it when a game I am intrested in is an exclusive to a platform I don't play.
They are doing the same thing with no more heroes. Just leave Mickey on the wii
perfect!!!! good move
Unneeded. Unless it somehow has a multi feature
unless it is better on 360 i will still get it on the wii
What Would Warren Say?
... Didn't they say that they were going to only make Disney stuff for the Wii not two days ago because sales on the PS3 and 360 for their games are slacking?
Regardless, I will pick it up for either the Wii or the PS3. Gotta support our old-time Mickey.
I really hope it turns up on the 360 because i wanna play this
mickey on the 360? i dunno. think about the achievements.
That's good.
That is the scariest Donald Duck ever.
Terminator 5: Attack of the Duck
Is there a "Mickey Mouse" audience on the 360 and PS3? This is terrible, I think Ninkendo should be aggressive about this and fight to keep it exclusive.
Too bad the Wii's hardcore games didn't do too well, such as Madworld. The game had good potential, but it was released on the wrong console. For all of you who enjoy the Wii, good for you because I enjoy it too even though I don't own one. But most parents look at the Wii as a safer console, considering the 360 mostly pops out M-rated FPS titles. When a lot of the Wii-owning families saw Madworld, the obvious answer was, "No!"
Epic Mickey might finally be a darker game that kids can enjoy while having approval from their parents. Doesn't look like a bad game, but I'd still never get it because I'm more of a BioShock/L4D/Halo- just look at my favorite games list and you'll get the idea.
Wasn't excited about this game and this sure doesn't change my opnion in anyway...I'll wait though to see what the reviews are saying about it before I say the game is terrible...
Great news. I like seeing games on multiple platforms.
Sure Mickey fits the Wii's younger audience, but don't forget that some of us older gamers (who don't have a Wii) love Mickey too.
not fair! the wii is begging for exclusives, and they needed a game like this!!
I know that if it DOES come out of the 360... I'll wait until it is released and buy it for that.
i guess it doesnt matter. im getting this game regardless. i love The Mouse
