Great timing Reiner, pitchers and catchers reported to camp this afternoon. I gotta say I'm actually looking forward to this installment after reading your blog and seeing it in action. ANYTHING has got to be better than last years pathetic excuse of a game.

LOL!!!! Classic Fukudome, YOUR OUT!!!!  And what's up with the Cubs looking like the Yankees out there?  Must be cuz they're playing the Mets.  

Enough shenanigans, the game looks crisp and the lighting looks way better than last year's game.  I'll pick it up when I'm getting BFBC2.  I really miss baseball when this time of year.  The sound of the ball hitting the catcher's mitt sounds exquisite.

Ok first off go White Sox!! Anyway thanks for the review coming from Chicago myself Iam a huge baseball fan and last year game was not to good in my eyes. But this looks like a winner hope 2K lives up to the hype cuz Iam really missing baseball right now...

I can't say I'm even slightly interested in MLB 2K10. Sure, it's pretty looking, but in my opinion it's going to become harder and harder to innovate upon previous titles. Baseball's a slow game, and you can't add onto it because what's been established for the sport in real life is pretty much what your getting in the game.

Also, once you've "perfected" something in the game that's already been recycled and redone over the last 4 games, where else is there to go? Sure, each year will present a new roster with new stats, which could easily be presented as DLC, but I don't see any valid reason for a full sequel. Rather, create a definitive MLB game sometime in the near future and continue DLC support for rosters and other goodies for a few years until the graphics start to age and there's noticeably significant improvements which are only presentable as a new game.

Finally I can look forward to a baseball game again. Last years game was so horrible I almost was not going to get it this year.

I think the 2K series is going in the right direction with this game. Everything seems to be improved.

However, with that said, my money is still going to MLB 10 The Show. Even with all the improvements to 2K, I still think The Show is the much better game out of the two. March 2nd cant get here soon enough!
