We've been eagerly awaiting the chance to check out more of Halo: Reach ever since we finished the cover story from our February issue. Now it looks like we won't have to wait much longer. At their X10 event today, Microsoft has announced that the Halo: Reach beta will begin on May 3.

Remember that the Halo 3: ODST game disc will be needed to gain access to the beta. Word is that Reach will change up the regular Halo multiplayer formula in some way, so we're excited to get our hands on the beta and see how. Who's gonna join us online in May?

I will check it out as I bought that turd called ODST, but I will be extremely surprised if it makes me want to play any more of the abomination that Halo has become. Guess I shall see.

Because he didn't get a 360 before, and now games like this are convincing him to get it. I didn't get a 360 just because there were 3 Halo releases for the XBox/XBox360, the games are great but I still didn't get one back then although I might get one in the future.
