Holy cows, $12.5 million!?!?!? O_O
...I may have to add to that number.
i know i sure have contributed to that astonishing number. i highly recommend Worms 2 for any who havn't played it. i've been a Worms fan for a while, began playing it on the PC. i'm happy with the way it has moved onto XBLA.
Good for M$.
I actually believe that list is right...for once. Not shocked by BF1943, a 15 dollar battlefield game, most people were all over it. Even though it wasn't THAT great. Castle Crashers will keep on selling until everyone has it.
For the rest of the games though, a couple remakes, of course they'll sell. And well..Worms 2, I want a Worms 3, it's worms killing each other I can't get enough of it.
That's it? XBOX LIVE DEAD
Great success!
no wheres kingdom for keflings
It would have been a travesty if Shadow Complex didn't make it on here. I'm willing to bet that about twice as much money was made by music game downloads in the past year though.
No surprise for Battlefield being up top, although I am a little surprised that Magic The Gathering surpassed Peggle.
Overall it's good to see some companies making some profit off of these games.
Awesome! Battlefeild 1943 sold the most!
The only two I have played are Battlefield and Castle Crashers. I'm surprised they sold so well because I was reluctant to shell out the cash for a downloadable game; I guess I have an image of a flash game I can play for free burned into my mind.
That said, those titles were well worth the money and I hope the trend of increasing quality and thus increased interest continues.
1943 no surpirse but who would buy fam game night?
I'm not surprised by Battlefield, a lot of people were really into it. Personally, I never bought it but if they come out with another Battlefield game soon then maybe I'll check it out.
Shame Splosion Man didn't make it, I'm glad Shadow Complex did.
i cant believe the figures!
WHAAAAAT?!?!!?!?!?!!?!??! That's wiggidy-wiggidy-WACK!!!! I'm just kidding. I'm not like that.
I figured Castle Crashers would be somewhere in the top three on that list.
I was a big fan of Battlefield 1942 and really enjoyed the trial of Battlefield 1943. I'm not surprised at all.
I'm surprised that the South Park game didn't make it up there. It was a real blast and classic South Park humor. I highly suggest it to anyone who would like the combination of path defense games played by a large cast of South Park characters.
I was surprised when I saw the title
I used to play BF 1942 in a cyber cafe when it first came out, I obviously see that everyone else used to enjoy the game just as I did. And the Behemoth's genius creation of castle crashers is no surprise either being number 2. I didn't know that Shadow Complex was that popular though, I enjoyed it but not that much :/.
marvel vs capcom and turtles in time all the way baby. MEh maybe they will release some better titles... maybe lol. Bang Bang cowbooy
