The lights are on
Since Splinter Cell: Conviction was first announced three years ago, the game’s release date has been a moving target. The various delays have undoubtedly made the game better, but Splinter Cell fans are pretty itchy to get their hands on the finished product at this point. Thankfully, Ubisoft just announced another official release for the game, and this date is set in stone – literally.
We received this rock from Ubisoft today. It’s just its clever little way of telling everyone that Splinter Cell: Conviction’s new launch date is April 13th. Sure, Ubisoft has announced a few other release dates for the game that have come and gone, but none of those have been carved into a rock. I think we can trust this one. Mark you calendars Splinter Cell: Conviction is only two-and-a-half months away.

Glad it's sooner rather than later, I know they for a time had it scheduled somewhere between April and March of next year...
Still way too long. I should be playing this game in less than three weeks, and i am disappointed, but the more I think about it, the more I know that they did the right thing by adding more polish
Clever little picture up there...
Looks like we've got another AAA month ahead of us, eh?
Lol, nothing is set in stone, especially not with a series like this. It hasn't been released yet so things can still change.
This is the kinda game that make Playstation 3 gamers such as myslef wish they weren't just PS3 gamers. I'll most likely be getting an 360 so that I'll be able to get this.
Myself*
I had typed myslef.
It Looks like March is the month for blockbusters. B Company 2, God of War III, Gran Turismo 5 and now Splinter Cell. While we are on this subject, when is the next Rainbow Six coming out?
Good to know. Looking forward to it.
not bad, i was thinking oh no!october!
wo0t!
@o_JMan240_o:
Actually it IS set in stone.
It is literally set in stone, and I think they have a better grasp on when their game will release than you
Cute, but a waste of money.
They shouldn't give critics ammunition, but it is good they finally solidified the date!
That is perfectly fine, that gives me time to spend with all the other games that are coming out.
Since Xbox took our Final Fantasy exclusive it would be nice to see a game in return ... I wouldn't mind seeing Splinter Cell: Conviction on my 55" LED Samsung breakin necks =]
cant wait to get my hands on that collectors edition. sam's next adventure should be a great one. while i had been bothered by tha wait, knowing that it should be makin tha game better kinda relieves that. and it gave me time to focus on other games, cuz when this comes out, its gettin my full attention
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS my soon to be fav game of all time!!!!! cant wait
And @toke 31 considering u still have killzone ratchet and clank infamous and resitance and the second best game of all time uncharted 2 (first being scc) final fantasy shouldnt mean to much
They literally sent you a rock? Well at least now we know that it's not going to switch to another release date in a month.
