New Iron Man 2 Trailer Shows Off War Machine

We’ve know that Iron Man’s monotone ally War Machine was going to have some screen time in the upcoming film for a while now, but Sega hasn’t confirmed his existence in the game of the same name -- until now.

The newest trailer for the video game version of Iron Man II is out. In it, we get to see Tony Stark’s good buddy Jim Rhodes take to the skies as War Machine. What’s more, fans will be able to play as Rhodey in the game. It looks like War Machine will sacrifice a small amount of precision for extra firepower, so playing as War Machine could affect your prowess in battle. The game is set to release in early May, right around the release of the film. Check out the trailer below.

  • First..sorry I had to.

  • Ohhh you got me! *** Classic821!

  • Sorry man. I hated to do it, but I didn't have the choice. :D

  • Another crap movie cash-in.

  • War machine is a freaking beast.

  • Beast big expectations now

  • So, the real question is, is this gonna be another typical movie-based video game? I have learned not to trust most of these games. Furthermore, wonder if it will balance how how much precision is sacrificed. Cause thats a lot of boom on War Machine.

  • Judging from the quality of the first game, I am not expecting much from this one. Show me gameplay that doesn't bore me to death and we got a deal Sega...

  • Looks amazing! May is when my B-day is so i could ask for this

  • Hey wait I'm channeling Nostradamus this game will suck.

  • I have hope for every game to do good but this game looks bad just bad

  • Awesome!  Hopefully it will be as good as the movie WILL be!!

  • Game no... Movie yes...

  • that was cool

  • I would say it looks good, but I know games-made-after-movies better than that

  • Iron man 2 has the potential to be better then the first, It's gonna be hard because the first one rocks!

  • War Machine is Boss! This makes me want to watch the movie more, and make me think about the game less. I don't get why movies and video games can't get along. Too many people or the wrong people that work on these projects. Rare that you find a good conversion of video game to movie or movie to video game. Someday they will get it right and it will be great.

  • I'm not gonna lie...

    The graphics look like crap.
