The lights are on
Rockstar Games is known for its ambitious projects, and L.A. Noire proves that the company’s reputation is safe. While the rumblings about the game have been heard for years, our world exclusive cover story is the only place you’ll be able to get concrete information on the gritty crime epic. Over the course of our 10-page feature we look at the game’s astonishing reconstruction of 1947 Los Angeles and learn how the team took on such a massive undertaking. We also talk to the team to see L.A. Noire’s groundbreaking facial-animation system in action, and learn how it might change the way we look at games from now on.
Some of the other features in our March issue include a look at the status of some of our favorite old franchises, previews of some of the Independent Games Festival nominees, and a guide for parents interested in parental controls. We also grill Platinum Games’ director Hideki Kamiya on Bayonetta, dig into the legal battle over Duke Nukem, and check out some of the hottest tech around. If you’ve been wondering why Polyphony Digital seems to operate without deadlines, Sony’s head of internal development, Shuhei Yoshida, explains why the company cuts the Gran Turismo 5 developer so much slack.
Sequels to Mass Effect, BioShock, and Battlefield: Bad Company get reviewed in the March issue of Game Informer Magazine, along with Dante’s Inferno, Aliens vs. Predator and many more.
Subscribers will be getting the March issue soon, and it will be hitting newsstands shortly afterward.

Hopefully it isn't just GTA with a different look to it. I hope they actually put some work in so this game will be as awesome as it should be.
How do we expedite the shipping on this issue?
@ Sean Lowery your statement begs the question, is taking sick days off from game informer to play games acceptable enough to talk openly about on your employers website? =p
better than mafia 2? maybe. SCHWING!
I'm gonna give this a look. Is always good to hear what Rockstar have next, at least in my book. Red dead Redemption is one of the games that I am anticipating the most this year. Cant wait to get my hands, eyes and brain in to this article.
this looks like another great mafia game from rockstar
Hey GI I still havent gotten the Halo Reach issue yet!!! What gives?!
it definitely looks good. Im hoping its got some feel like the first condemned. Or maybe max payne. On an off note, does anyone know why on earth they made max payne 3 in south america? doesnt sound very.....payne-ish
It's funny that I counted 7 different posts saying,"This game is no longer a ps3 exclusive." Yet, I see twice as many posts after that saying,"Is this a ps3 exclusive?" It's funny.
I can't wait to get this issue and read that story, my gaming wishlist just keeps growing and growing.
I knew battlefiel Bad company 2 would be good. I still think MAG will win online multiplayer of the year
Great cover, but PS3 exclusive is annoying and means I won't be playing it. I wish they would stop with the exclusives and release on all three systems, the third being PC... not Wii.
As long as it isnt 360 only( or, should i say, first), i'll be giving this one a try
I've been waiting on L.A. Noire for a long time. Hope it will be worth it.
"The gameinformer.com staff confirmed in the comments it will be on both the PS3 and 360"
First details Team Bondi's ambitious project will be revealed soon, now also coming to 360
After years of being accused of being vapourware, concrete information about the gritty crime epic based on 1940s Los Angeles will finally reach gamers worldwide. On March, GameInformer take a look at Team Bondi's game with a 10-page feature
It's good to know that the game is still in development, as so many years with scarce news have dilluted the gaming community's interest in the game. The Gameinformer staff that will publish this feature have also confirmed in their comments section the news that everyone was expecting: the game is no longer exclusive, as it will be released on both PS3 and 360
This game looks like it is going to be a lot of fun to play. I am definetly getting a copy.
