Fallout: New Vegas Set For Fall 2010

by Jeff Cork on Feb 04, 2010 at 03:16 AM

Bethesda has revealed scant details about the next installment in the Fallout series, called Fallout: New Vegas. We know it's being developed by Obsidian Entertainment, a studio built by many of the minds behind the original game. Aside from assuming that it's set in, well, New Vegas, speculation has reigned supreme. That has changed a bit this morning. Bethesda has announced a rough release window for the game: Fall 2010. It's set to release on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, though further details are still tough to come by.

In the meantime, check out the first trailer from the game. It features many of the elements from the series, such as campy music offsetting a bleak setting, ruined landscapes and "War never changes." There's also a quick glimpse at a sinister figure surveying what seems to be a remarkably intact Las Vegas. Interesting stuff...
