Have An iPhone? Read Mass Effect Redemption Free

Interested in reading Dark Horse’s Mass Effect comic? What if it was free? Today, and today only, the digital version of Mass Effect Redemption #1 is available as a free download for all iPhone owners.

The first issue of the comic takes place somewhere between the events of Mass Effect 1 and 2, and details the exploits of Liara T'Soni as she searches for Commander Shepard. The comic will reportedly tie into future downloadable content, making this a must read for any hardcore Mass Effect fan. Incidentally, issue two hits comic stands today, so at least you won’t have to wait long to see what happens next.

GI’s own Andrew Reiner said the comic was “phenomenal.” What do you think? Agree with him?

    Downloading to my iPod Touch!  I can't remember but doesn't this issue come with the collectors edition of Mass Effect 2?  I have it I am just not in the place where I preordered it so I have to wait to play it.

    Of course I decide not to get an iPhone for Christmas, great. Just great. I really liked the first Mass Effect comic so I guess I'll be picking this up.

    I bought the comic when it came out last month.  It was pretty good.  I won't spoil anything, and I haven't gotten to play Mass Effect 2 yet, but from what I have heard, the story line seems to be directly tied to how Mass Effect 2 starts out.  The promise that it will be related to future DLC is an even bigger bonus.
