The lights are on
Are you a Jets fan with a burning hatred of Tom Brady? Do you want to see Reggie Bush go down in a crumpled, torn ACL-heap next season? Then vote for your least-favorite player in EA Sports' upcoming Madden NFL 11 cover contest.
Traditionally, whoever appears on the cover of EA Sports' Madden NFL title is cursed. The curse can range from breaking your leg like Michael Vick (Madden 2004) to declined performance Daunte Culpepper (Madden 2002), but either way, seeing your favorite football player on the cover of Madden is not a good harbinger of the season to come.
EA Sports and Doritos are teaming up and giving fans a chance to vote on which player ends with the dubious honor of being on the Madden NFL 11 cover. Starting February 4th, Doritos' website will host the voting, so if you're looking to get a leg up over your hated rivals next season head over there when it goes live and start voting for all your least favorite players.

Phillip Rivers hes a ***
Brian Dawkins, best player ever, hands down
but the only person who deserves to be on the cover is Chris Johnson, hes gonna be big
I really want to see Shawn Merriman of the Chargers. I don't like that punk.
John Madden himself, so that they stop making these horrible Madden games.
Brett Favre, they can introduce some sweet mini-games along with that.
After appearing in a Wranglers ad, you throw footballs to high school kids, mow your lawn, and deal with Chris Mortensen through text messages. Then your season with the Vikings start ... after all the minicamp stuff is skipped for you, of course.
tom brady, the patriots suck!!!!!
Has Donovan McNabb been cursed? I wonder if putting him on the cover would reverse it?
The Madden Games
Hines Ward. He plays so dirty all the time and always gets away with it. He deserves to go down with an injury.
entire vikings organization...reverse the curse anyone
My pick is for the poster Cameron. For hating the Steelers, us Steeler fans had to go through enough this year with Troy recieving the Madden Curse.
Aww...Hines plays dirty, wah wah wah...Is it because Hines knocked the isht out of one of your favorite defensive players? Let's see, you're a Bengals or Ravens fan? If Hines is on your team, you love him...Otherwise, you're just bitter and jealous.
Drew Brees or Reggie Bush would be great on the cover
Why would Reggie Bush be considered? He's horrible.
Honestly, there's only person I'd like to see go down in a crumpled, torn ACL-heap: Roger Goodell. TWO regular season games a year in London PLUS a he wants a franchise on the other side of the planet? Glad to see that took priority over the past 3 years instead of negotiating with the players union about a 2010 salary cap. Way to go, dickweed. Also, all of a sudden claiming WHO DAT is NFL property. Yeah, no one said a *** thing about that when the Saints were 3-13. Moving the (now) Semi-Pro Bowl out of Hawaii and into the Super Bo... oh, the BIG GAME's stadium. That'll be enticing if it ever ends up in Detroit again. No one showed up in Miami, you'll be lucky get Byron Leftwich to play a Pro Bowl over there.
Roger Goodell needs to do the honerable thing and step down as commissioner... and then drink a jug of bleach... then die... in a fire.
Well, that was nice release.
John Madden: then he can die already and we never have to hear him talk again and they can change this series out of respect for the dead, and respect for good taste (though the last Madden was actually decent for once).
