Draw Sonic Fan Art, Learn Project Needlemouse’s True Name

A couple weeks ago Sega issued a challenge to Sonic fans. Those dedicated hedgehog enthusiasts were asked diehard Sonic trivia questions and their reward was learning that Sega’s original mascot will be the only playable character in the upcoming Project Needlemouse. Now that we know this is a purist’s Sonic game, Sega has issued another challenge…

Upon seeing fake concept art like the Metropolis City mantis Badnik below, Sega dares Sonic fans to throw their fake concepts their way. They love it. If 100 Sonic fans can submit concept art by Monday, Sega promises to roll out Project Needlemouse’s real name! That’s not all, they also promise to pull back the curtain on the game’s first Zone and even throw in a “bonus reward.” Exciting stuff!

I think sonic is coming back in 2D or 2.5 its great to see it that way. I dont like the previous sonic 3D games. SONIC 1,2,3 where the best.

I think it's a good idea maybe Sega might actually realize that though Sonic fans and some of us who aren't will buy Sonic games anyway they might have come to pity us on releasing such pure un-alduterated trash. So maybe not original but kudos to Sega on maybe trying on this game.

P.S.- I bet my Sonic Mega Collection+ that this is just an HD version of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 with SLIGHTLY changed levels. Oh well I'm buying it anyway.
