The lights are on
Just last week Microsoft’s Aaron Greenburg said that Microsoft Points were “never intended to mislead people.” Apparently one Xbox Live user doesn’t agree, and has filed a lawsuit with the company.Samuel Lassoff, a resident of Horsham, PA, claims that he received a bill from Microsoft for games that he attempted to download over XBLA. InformationWeek reports that due to a “balky download system,” Lassoff’s MS Points were taken but his game was never received.Lassoff’s lawsuit claims that Microsoft "engaged in a scheme to unjustly enrich itself through their fraudulent handling." He also points to “hundreds” of other Xbox users that have been wronged by Microsoft’s alleged breach of contract by paying for games they did not receive. The complainant has a history of lawsuit-filing. Before Microsoft, Lassoff sued Google and an Atlantic City casino. Anybody else ever have issues like this with MS Points?

nope just bad load time :p
I have issues with the points system as a whole, but have had no issue with the transaction process going through.
what a ass
My only gripe with the system is that if something cost like 1200 points I can't add that amount, have to do it in increments so I'm always left with some random amount of points I can't do anything with until the next purchase
I don't like that you can't buy just the amount of points you need for a download, but it's not misleading at all. Right when you guy them, you see that 80 points is 1USD. I just sounds like Lassoff is sue-happy. All it really accomplishes is showing that he's not intelligent enough to figure out converion rates, a search engine, and that gambling results in spending more money than you win back (otherwise casinos wouldn't ****ing exist).
i thought they screwed me one time but it was just a screwup on my part. make sure you put your wet floor sighns up around that guy though
i hate activision just wanted to say that!
Though I may have my dislikes of Microsoft, nothing like that has never happened to me.
As soon as I saw the title I thought "Dan Ryckert" lol.
Not that i know of.
my copies of banjo kazooie and tooie suddenly became trials.... that sucked.
