Grab your guns and three buddies, because Capcom’s newest third-person shooter, Lost Planet 2, is on its way this spring. You can expect to land on the beautiful and deadly world of E.D.N III on May 18, 2010.

This sequel to Lost Planet: Extreme Condition will feature 6 interwoven episodes that will combine to provide a dynamic playthrough that changes depending on your actions. The sequel promises new weapons, squad-based tactics, and new mechs to blast away Akrid scum.

Lost Planet 2 is heading to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

    i have yet to play the first one but i think i will just skip it and go to the 2 one

    The demo itself was better than the first game...I may rent this one until I see the rest of the game, because Lost Planet 2 has a lot to repair from the first game...so far, it looks promising.

    This game looks sexy..kind of glad they delayed it a bit. So many great games that were due out for first quarter and so little money to go around to buy em. Looks like Capcom is going to have another solid year.

    YES! Super Street Fighter IV, now Lost Planet 2! I played the demo from PSN a couple weeks ago, and it was great! I definetly can't wait for spring now. Between God of War III, Super Street Fighter IV, Lost Planet 2, and the start of lacrosse season, I will be living in heaven during the spring.

    Waiting to see how this one turns out before I'm committing to getting it. Lost Planet EC was good, but definitely not great. It'll have to fix a lot of problems and make some big leaps forward to compete with this spring's amazing releases.

    If Capcom keeps putting out titles like this, I will keep buying them.  I'm stoked for the building sized bosses!

    I wasn't a huge fan of the first game. But so far this installment looks and plays excellent. I'm excited to get my hands on the game, when it comes out, on May 18.

    This game is going to be the best game ever. There is no way that any of the sequels that are coming out this year could be any better then Lost Planet 2. Hooray hooray hooray hooray!!!!!

    @ Targ-I am going to make a list of sequels here that beg to differ with your comment

    -Mass Effect 2

    -Bioshock 2

    -Final Fantasy XIII

    -Battlefield Bad Company 2

    -Dead Space 2

    there are a couple more probably, but I cant think of them at the time.
