The lights are on
Why is Kratos so angry? Sure, he murdered his own family, and was bound to the service of an unjust god, but his rage issues clearly started well before either of these events. In a new six-issue miniseries from WildStorm, Kratos' Spartan childhood is explored. This story will reveal the early tragedies and formative events of his untold past. Was he bullied on the schoolyard? Was he socially awkward? Did he have braces? I predict his origin story will be exactly like Teen Wolf's...only with more scowling. Sony hasn't locked in a release date for God of War III yet, but Wildstorm currently has the first issue of the God of War comic set for March 31. The Mass Effect comic has been great so far, and God of War appears to be in just as good of hands with the creative team of Marv Wolfman (words), and Andrea Sorrentino (art).

i have never played god of war
Cool. Hopefully, more information will be given about Kratos' brother.
Shoot. He breathed new life into the Teen Titans, and practically created the Marvel Universe's vampire mythology. I figure its in capable hands with Wolfman. I've never even played a GoW game, but I might pick this up just because of Wolfman.
Why does it seem like every video game these days has to come out with some type of comic book? None of them ever interest me.
Hey, Wolfman is a pretty good old-school writer. That makes me more curious to check this out.
Dude, awesome! Why hasn't this been done yet?
I may have to checks this out since Frogman ok'd the creative team (I trust his expertise on all things comic-related)
it wouldn't surprise me they create a prequel to god of war to the time before he killed his family. I would like to see them develop that story and the history about his wife and child
Oooooooooooooooooweeeeeeeeeeooooooooooooooooooo..................
Nah. Just kidding.
But anyway,cool.
Kratos' past has always been the most interesting part of his character, it's nice to know that they're fleshing it out
If you haven't played God of War I would highly recommend it, I don't care who you are, if you like smooth, fluid and fun gameplay, gratuitous violence, and sticking it to the man (and by man I mean Gods) than you would like God of War. If you are a 360 fan, it is seriously worth it, if you've taken some kind of oath or something to never play a playstation than you are seriously missing out. To the rest of you, I'm not kidding, its one of my top five games (though that's just my opinion:).
Gonna be sooooo awesome.....and graphic
I'm gonna pick this up. ***, I'm gonna be on broke.
he had a childhood?? oh god, where? i hell?? no ownder he is pssed at his dad..
There are too many games that borrow liberally from God of Wars combat system for anyone to at least not checkout the game that introduced it. It is still the best of the imitators.
EEE Im excited!!! LOVE these games, but never read a "Real" comic before....hummmmm maybe this will open a new door!!!
My friend will enjoy this news:D. No, he'll go insane!
Maybe Kratos should just start smoking, he's under too much stress all the time, lol
As cool as comics are, I'd have preferred this done in the form a novel...more character development possibilities!
