What do you think of the nominees? Were any big titles missing from a particular category? I personally think the character writing in Left 4 Dead 2 is often overlooked; that definitely deserved a nomination for Best Writing.
With Uncharted 2 being in nearly every category, one can’t help but think the game is shoe-in for game of the year. Anybody surprised that Modern Warfare 2 wasn’t chosen by developers as a contender for the best of 2009?
