UPDATE: Some readers were lucky enough to find the Prince of Persia LEGO sets last week. It now sounds like the sets are officially available all across the United States. Whether you like Prince of Persia or not, every gamer needs to have a LEGO ostrich next to their gaming rig.

ORIGINAL STORY: After seeing these images, Prince of Persia has officially become my most anticipated movie of 2010 (for all the wrong reasons, of course). If these sets are like the Star Wars and Indiana Jones collections, they are based on key moments from the film...such as the ostrich race...with scorpions on the track...and a half-naked Jake Gyllenhaal.

Take a close look at the other sets. You'll see the Prince dual-wielding swords, an enemy that has what looks like machine guns for arms, and plenty of recycled Indiana Jones snakes. All of these sets should be in toy stores come April. A special thanks goes out to GI reader Mark Anderson for sending over the images!

I'm pretty sure those aren't machine guns...I think that guy is the dude from the trailer that had the chain weapon. So it's either that or some kind of claw armament.

I find it funny how Jake Gyllenhaal now has a "WARNING:Choking Hazard!" label. That should've been the sub title for brokeback mountain.(Brokeback Mountain:WARNING CHOKING HAZARD!)
