New Dragon Age: Origins DLC Dated & Detailed

On January 5, for Xbox 360 and PC owners, Bioware will release its second DLC offering for Dragon Age: Origins called Return to Ostagar.  This DLC offering is also coming to PlayStation 3, but as of now, the only date EA is giving is, "later in the month." As the name of this expansion implies, your party will be returning to the battlefield where many of the Grey Wardens perished. Players will also learn of the secrets left behind by the fallen king, Cailan. This DLC will only set you back 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360, 400 Bioware Points on PC, and if you use real money, $4.99 on PlayStation 3.

  • sweet not too expensive

  • can't wait, seeing as I just beat it with my level 30 human warrior noble man.....

  • I need to get this game with Warden's Keep, but first I need to finish Oblivion. That might take a while

  • Doesn't sound to intriguing in terms of story, but Bioware will probably put some twists in there, either way it's worth the small price

  • Hmmmmm. But will I be able to "Return to Ostagar" with the character I've already beat the game with? Or if I do will it be like when I pulled him into the "Tale of Orzamar" stand alone adventure and had to start by reassigning all my points at a lower level?

  • i want the kings armor!

  • I still havent gotten this game! Im just too tied up with all the awesome multiplayer right now, MW2, L4D2, and Im getting a DS soon with Spirit Tracks and Sccriblenauts, so This may be one for spring, oh wait, there are a million awesome games in spring. Crap.

  • Nice, pretty cheap. Might get it.

  • King Cailen's armor for 5 bucks? Why not?

  • I Can't wait to start playing this game. I have too many new games from christmas though. So I don't know what I will start playing next.

  • Been saving some points just for this.  Now that the date's been released, I don't have to be quite so stingy with 'em.

  • this would have been interesting if the game wasn't a sloppy pile of garbage.

  • @goatr

To each his/her own. I've quite enjoyed it.

  • I have not even bought the game yet, but I am so excited about playing the game. I love that the DLC seems cheaper than some of the other games I have like Oblivion and Fallout 3.

  • Dragon Age:Origins is so vile.

  • @frogman1975-i know, i was just saying it to say it.  not trying to bash those who do enjoy it.

  • Awesome birthday present for me.

  • It is good to see people releasing DLC early after the release of games.  It is obvious that when you wait, you lose some of the hype from the initial release.  GTA is an example of trying to release DLC well after the initial release.  No doubt GTA was an awesome game, but the DLC isn't reaching the same level of success it would have if released shortly after launch.

  • im having a great time with the game, but would be interesting to see what, if anything found in this DLC carries over to the main game. im tired of starting this one over.

  • that sounds pretty cool, still on my second run of the game....
