Evan Wells Hints At More Uncharted 2 Co-Op

by Matt Bertz on Dec 29, 2009 at 06:06 AM

With Uncharted 2's co-op drawing in as much praise and online activity as its underrated multiplayer, Naughty Dog's Evan Wells hinted that more content could be on the way.

In an interview with G4, Wells spelled out the potential for new cooperative content. "So, for future DLC, could we add more co-op? Probably more in the arena-style type of gameplay, like our Survival and our Gold Rush modes," he said. "The objective-style co-op that we have where we have those little narrative moments...it's something that we are considering and we'd really like to do, but it's a much, much bigger investment of time because we have to do a lot of motion capture with the actors and record a lot of voices. So we would absolutely want make sure that we talk to our community and make sure there was the proper demand for it."

If you're interested in getting more co-op action out of your copy of Uncharted 2, it looks like all you have to do is ask. So, what do you think? Are you interested in playing more story-driven co-op, or would you rather have Naughty Dog focus its considerable talents on a new project, like, say, Uncharted 3?
