The lights are on
Jesse Divnich, director of analyst services for Electronic Entertainment Design and Research (EEDAR), believes we may see a glimpse of a new Grand Theft Auto title at E3 in June.
Speaking to Game Informer, Divnich made a big prediction as to what we may see at the industry trade show in June. "I think we’re going to hear about another Grand Theft Auto. I think there won’t be any playable stuff. I think they’ll give you some type of teaser, because we do think that a year from then in 2011 we’re going to see another Grand Theft Auto."
We asked Divnich about whether Sony or Microsoft would try and nab some sort of exclusive rights to the newest GTA, but he thought that those days were over. "I don't foresee Microsoft or Sony attempting to obtain any type of exclusivity with the next Grand Theft Auto. Microsoft paid a lot of money for exclusivity on the downloadable content for GTA IV, which unfortunately did little to move consoles for Microsoft. Back in 2004, the Grand Theft Auto was a huge brand, but only relative to the other brands that existed at the time. While the GTA brand is certainly bigger now than it was five years ago, others have emerged to reach similar levels of success, such as Call of Duty or Guitar Hero. In other words, if Sony gets an exclusive deal on GTA V, it would do little to disrupt Microsoft's ability to move hardware, and vice versa."

No, please. No more GTA. :(
they should make a new gta but in vice city or sandreas right.
its me agian but i have a idea they should make a gta that you could costamize your char...
If it is exclusive for the playstation 3 than im gonna ge pretty pissed off
I will buy a new GTA and they have consistently created a great games, so i don't know why people would hate on them now.
how bout some more handheld gta atleast that somthing a little fresher
i really like the gta series but sometimes enough is enough
i dont think this will be any better than gta4, but in my opinion, san andreas is still the best gta, im still playing after all these years.
I sort of agree with Jake H. Rockstar is very crafty and will give hints to a new GTA. Although it is inevitable. I would love to see a combined world of Liberty, Vice City, and San Andreas. Oh, and please can you make the main character a Mexicano. That would be F'in pimp.
I'm back. Just wanted to say to dkeller2, Nikko would bust Cj's ass retard. C'mon, I don't care how built( although they should bring this feature back in the next installment) or gangsta Cj can get, Nikko would rip his *** up. Hello.... he was in the F' in Red Army man!!! Tommy V. was a badass too.
A new GTA... with car customization maybe? character customization isn't usually that great, but some games, like (dare I mention it?)Tony Hawk's Underground 2. Maybe if they played it out more like The Sims or had a sandbox mode. Also, splitscreen local multi-player would be fun. Random character generators so all the people on the street didn't look alike would make the game seem more real. More maps or maps in rural areas and cities (and maybe a desert or jungle? Lol.) would add to 1up this game. Other than that, noting can help this drowning series *AHEM GUITAR HERO AHEM*
i hope soo
GTA is pretty fun, but the gameplay has grown tired. When GTA III came out, it was great, but since thn, ive been ugh, change it up. and NO more doing the same town over and over, they should have it in TOKYO!!
sonds cool but i think in the new grand theft auto they should have mini games 2 like china wars but also have the feel of san andreas grand theft auto version
Yay more GTA
im also sik of gta. gta4 in my opinion was a fail i did not like it. i wish they came out with a fable like saints row were u choose the path of ur gangster. i loved saints row 2 better than gta4
