Many of you are familiar with my hatred toward the overpowered akimbo shotguns. Thanks to today's patch (called patch 1.07 by Infinity Ward), cheap deaths caused by these weapons will bother players no more. They have been nerfed to hell! This patch also fixes the private match glitch, and according to one of Infinity Ward's community moderators, "I don't know if the prestige glitch did make it over to 360, but if so, that too has been addressed." And in case you are wondering, this patch already hit the PlayStation 3 last week.

How badly did they nerf them? Are they ow totally useless? Thankfully they don't patch PC so I can still use my dual death dealers.

In my opinion I think that they should take akimbo out of the entire game. Its not really fair when you go up against a team full of akimbod p-90s

fixing the 1887's.. in my eyes that was never a problem. the real issue is that in almost every match you join people are boosting, its rediculous.

This is a Bunch of *** that they fixed them the range on a shotgun in real life is better than any of the ones on this game and the people who don't like them are noobs. I can use any weapon in the game to kill people the shotguns were my favorite though I just recently got them and then they just make them stupid. Infinity Ward is really messing up!!!!! So since people don't like the shotguns they complain well I hate campers so now infinity ward should take that into consideration and kill anyone who sits in one spot on a map for more than a minute

No No No. The 1887's were way overpowered. When you have a shotgun with an effective range similar to an assault rifle, you've got a screw up. This was way overdue.
