Gameplay Video From FFXIII Is Oh So Sweet
It seems like I’ve been torturing fans a lot lately with screens and news stories about Final Fantasy XIII, but today I have the ultimate temptation: video of the opening scene and first few battles from our time with a Japanese import copy. If you're abstaining from all FFXIII media until March 9th, shield your virgin eyes.
Otherwise, check out the video below, and laugh at my incredibly slow menu navigation during the first fight. Also worth noting: I didn’t realize right away that the first option is actually “Auto Battle,” which selects your attacks for you. As such I pretty much do the same thing over and over again, while trying to figure out what the heck is going on. But aside from showing off how much I suck, the video also gives you an idea of how smooth the Active Time Battle system works. Enjoy!
