If you have an intelligent clock (or an iPhone), set its alarm to wake you up at the crack of dawn on August 25, 2010. Why on Earth should you get up so early? On this otherwise ordinary day, toy store shelves will stocked with the first series of Mass Effect 2 figures. Since these toys are made by DC Unlimited, the makers of the awesome World of Warcraft line, most stores will be in short supply. Moreover, if you are a PlayStation 3 or Wii owner, these figures will be the closest you come to a Mass Effect adventure. Sorry, I know that's a horrible joke, but it had to be said.

The first series consists of the four figures pictured below.

The first picture with Shepard was featured in the current GI magazine. Next to him is a girl/woman pointing a gun. If you cover up her arm which is pointing and holding the gun, would it not look absolutely perfect as some sort of Mandy Moore album cover or something. I mean that girl is so conspicuously cute I was wondering if she was photoshopped, it's definitely a laugh.

Anyone else think her appearance, and especially facial expression, were completely incongruous with the rest of the picture, let alone what she is currently doing? Maybe she'd be more fitting on an FF cover posing with a sword. I'm not trying to come off as griping, it's actually just so weird it's hard to explain.
