The lights are on
BioWare and LucasArts have been slowly dribbling out info for their ambitious MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic for months. The latest droplets are a look at the game's vision of Tatooine and another issue of prequel webcomic Threat of Peace. Why every Star Wars property ever has to have something take place on the godforsaken desert rock that even the whiniest of proto-Jedi couldn't stand, I have no idea. Free comics are cool, though, and this is bound to be better than The Clone Wars simply on the strength of not featuring Asoka, the most irritating Jedi ever.
How does this strike you? Are you champing at the bit to feel the glare of twin suns while staring moodily out at the desert as the desert wind ruffles your rockin' feathered hair? Or are you more the ambushing oblivious marks in seedy cantinas type?

this is gonna be my first mmo. normally i wouldnt even bother, but its bioware so i have to at least give it a try. and i am pretty excited to find out what happened after the Kotor games, which was easily my favorite series last generation.

This is the game that I upgraded my laptop for.
