The lights are on
EA and BioWare want you to watch the latest Mass Effect 2 trailer. They really do. The thing is, though, you won't be able to see the entire thing until December 22, when it's posted on Xbox Live. In the meantime, you'll have to settle for this teaser trailer to next week's larger trailer.
The teaser shows Martin Sheen's Illusive Man character and Yvonne Stahovski's genetically enhanced Cerberus operative Miranda Lawson scrolling through the records of some of the galaxy's most notorious assassins and criminals. Commander Shepard is on a mission to recruit them, including one of the biotic captives from the prison ship Purgatory, whom we catch a fleeting glimpse of during an escape attempt. It's good stuff, even in spite of the silly tease to a tease tactic.

OH YEAH! Recruiting a team of assassins and criminals can only mean that Shepard will have the most bad-arse team in the universe. I don't know how Bioware can keep shocking me without my heart stopping! I am so pumped for this game. I preordered the collectors edition from EB Games yesterday and I can't wait.
I still love what bioware said about this game via gamespot. "There is too much awesomeness to put on one disc" I guess that's the new trend for 360 until they realize bluray holds more content

BRING IT TO PS3 BIOWARE!! I don't want to have to buy a ticking time bomb to have to play this role-playing masterpiece.
Got my pre-order. Just release the trailer already! Why make us wait? I feel really sorry for PS3-only owners on this one. Then again, 360 owners will be the ones frowning when God of War III comes out, so it's all equal in the end. Man, the beginning of 2010 is a great time to have all three consoles.
With the PS3 gaining a much larger install base in the holiday season and the run-up to the release of God of War III, I would be surprised if BioWare didn't release a PS3 version later in 2010. BioShock finally came around, and they'll be thankful they did when they see increased sales from BioShock 1 to BioShock 2. Kojima finally realized it, and MGS is now multi-platform as well. Going with only one console when you have the ability to do otherwise just isn't a smart business move these days.
