The lights are on
In case you didn’t tune into Spike yesterday for their annual Video Game Awards, we’ve got a first look at Halo: Reach – sans an introduction by sci-fi babe Tricia Helfer. The video is part of the title’s opening cinematic, providing a first look at the members of the Noble Team. These Spartans are tasked with defending planet Reach from the invading Covenant. They’ve got an uphill battle.
Halo: Reach is slated for a Fall 2010 release
it had better be something worth $60 (Ahem, Halo 3 ODST
Hmmm... This is going to go two ways, it's either going to be great, or it's goinging to be bad. personaly I think it looked ok.
halo reach looks amazing, especially the skull guy (will there be knifes in halo)
yes there are 6 halo games now but don't blame Bungie, Microsoft owns Halo and even if odst was not the best halo it was still a good game.
also i'm pretty sure they have been working on reach as long as odst (it has a built in beta) so it will not be an add on like odst was originally
They think another Halo game will save the 360 and sell games next year? Good luck.
Thankfully, this'll be the last supposed Halo game.
weird dave, please stop asking ridiculous questions. thanks
Sweet! ...wait, is this one actually gonna be good? ...or no? ...like usual..
Hahaha, anyone notice how they keep on putting things like "Drops" and "Falls" for when the game comes out?
Another Halo game. Awesome haha
I am so freaking excited! I love how it appears that each spartan has their own modified armor.
This isn't nessesarily going to be the last Halo game, in GI issue #200, it was said that Bungie and Microsoft would possibly be working on Halo-related games in the future, it's just that Bungie wouldn't have any direct involvement in them like they have in the past.
I'm not a fan of Halo anymore, but I have to admit, it looks pretty good.
it look s really good
Am I seeing some epic armor customization? :D
Frankly, I just get annoyed when something like this video comes out and everyone's like, "Oh, that'll be the greatest game ever!!!" when there's not even any gameplay footage or anything. I mean, come on! What makes it look so cool? All I saw was a simple cinematic with what looked like plain ol' Halo 3/ODST graphics. I have nothing agianst Halo, but all I'm saying is don't get over-excited just because you saw a brief video that tells you nothing more about a game you already know nothing about.
From what I heard, it uses the in-game engine so it looks really nice. I'm looking foward to hearing more about it.
For anyone sayin there is too many halo games, look at call of duty. halo games get a 2-3 year development cycle, and so do call of duty games. people say there are too many halo games, but at least one call of duty game gets released each year because they have more than one studio working on it. so if you say that halo has too many games coming out, but call of duty doesnt, you are not only being hypocritical, but are discouraging development from the game series that started fps gaming on console ( i know it wasnt the first or the best, but it was the most popular console fps when it came out)
Was that Forge? I think it was Forge. That's pretty awesome. The game looks pretty cool however...I didn't get the invitation in my copy of ODST...is that a problem?
that was a nice trailer I hope this time gives more info
OMFG A NEW HALO GAME
THIS WILL BE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GODLY
isaw the video game awards it was tight
