The lights are on
Fans of Hideo Kojima's trademark brand of tactical espionage action should mark their calendars for May 25th of next year. Konami announced the release date today for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, the PSP followup to the 60's-era Snake Eater. Keep an eye out for it next May, when gamers will once again assume control of Big Boss as he strays further from virtuous, noble soldier and closer to "bat**** crazy supervillain" in the series' first Kojima-directed PSP title.

Kojima is waaay overrated and I've never been able to make sense of the overall story with these games, but I'm hoping this will be enjoyable. I might wipe the Syphon Filter dust off my PSP.

its unlikely that they would port this game to console since they never ported the portable ops game, but you never really know. Sorry Ramos :(
