ModNation Racers looks like it's shaping up to bring some much-needed competition to the kart-racer genre. The game is due out sometime next year.

I loved Mario Kart as a kid, I loved Little Big Planet as an adult, I love playing with friends, and I love new creative IPs. Seems like a no-brainer.
I remember when this was shown last yea, I've been wanting to at least play a demo for a while, let's hope it was worth the wait.

I haven't owned a kart racer since Crash Team Racing, and the last one I played was Mario Kart Double Dash at a friends house. So, as you can see, I haven't given the genre much thought since then. ModNation Racers looks cool and has alot to offer (Mainly the track builder) but I am just not impressed with the racing as of late...... Not when I have to lay down 60 bucks for it. I have a limited income..... so its going to be GOWIII and FFXIII and such..... sigh.

ModNation Racers blows Mariokart off-road. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of Mariokart, but ModNation has more diversity. Customization and Design is a key factor for videogames. This is what ModNation offers. And even though I don't have a PS3, I'm still looking forward to this game.

Agh I wish I had the Beta key for this, but I don't want to buy another copy of LBP. /sigh
