What do you guys think about preorder exclusive bonuses? Do you think they’re cool? Do you feel like you’re missing out if you don’t preorder the game in time?

  • this is actually funny! maybe they should add other Capcom characters like Dante. maybe even other RE characters like Chris and Leon. i might get this now!

  • WTF....thats awsome

  • I think the idea for unlocking characters is excellent, however, I don't want to have to pre-order the game to unlock this character. Buying the downloadable, or even an extremely difficult unlockable would be more fun.

  • Hahahaha, that's pretty cool.

  • I love how Capcom's always got game crossovers.  Anybody else remember Dante in Viewtiful Joe, or the Mega Man X helmet in Dead Rising? :-)

  • thats sick

  • That's sweet!

  • *** PREORDER BONUSES!!  JUST PUT HIM IN THE FRIGGIN GAME, AND STOP MAKING ME PREORDER EVERYTHING!!  That being said, this game does look like it's worth a preorder, but I still hate preorder bonuses that could easily be unlockable in game.

  • I can't stand pre-order bonuses, but luckily they almost never stay exclusive to pre-ordering. There was all this hullaballoo about Juggernaut being a game stop pre-order exclusive for MUA2, but now you can get him on XBLA and PSN for $2 or something. So hopefully the same happens here. Now WHERE THE HELL IS BARRY BURTON!!!???

  • I believe pre-order bonuses are a must for almost every game.  It ensures that the company is getting its sales jumpstarted.  It gives gamers like me the incentive to buy it right away as opposed to waiting until the price drops.

Most of the content in these "bonuses" isn't really all that super either.  It's just a nifty perk, character, weapon, map, or discount that you can hold up to the world as nerd credit.  In the end, I say it benefits both gamers and game creators.

  • I'm agreeing with Vincent about the pre-order bonus.

Wesker is an awesome character but i never liked Lost Planet...

  • ooohh that wesker... he  just wont die.

  • Yeah, dante would be awesome, but these preorder bonuses never entice me to play a game. If anything, they get me mad for not being included with the  game period. But gamestop has to be competitive, hardly an open gesture to me though.

  • I love crossovers and preorder bonus stuff.  It's really why I buy at gamestop, even though there is an awesome local store in town that I really want to support... and do sometimes.

    Ah dilemma's.

  • i liked the demo of the first and intend on buying the original but the secound seems really sloppy to me online.

  • Pre-order bonuses are getting better.

  • I would rather have Chris hehe he's the man...

  • So crazy that it's funny! X)

  • wow thats just badass.

  • I could care less about this pre-order content. ODST's Sergeant Johnson was cool, but thI don't really find this character relevant to Lost Planet 2.
