The lights are on
Square Enix bought out Eidos not too long ago, with the famous Tomb Raider-developer and some of its studios being brought in-house at Square Enix as a Western development arm. Now the pair are working on their first official collaboration.
Speaking at the Montreal Games Summit according to Develop, Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada told the attendees that the game "would be the first collaboration between Square Enix and Montreal. We would like to be able to create a new title that is made by the group as one."
Eidos Montreal is currently working on Thief 4 and Deus Ex 3, and the project would reportedly be a third title for the studio, although it's unknown if it would be a new franchise or a sequel like the others.
Any guesses as to what the game is? If it is an old property, is there any particular one you'd like them to tackle?

No idea, but it should be sweet.
another tomb raider, but better this time.
What about another installment of time splitters
@Andre
Good thinking, another Timesplitters would be awesome. I'm gonna guess that it's not Deus Ex due to Warren Spector working on Epic Mickey at the moment. Another installment of thief could be cool as well.

I hope Thief 4 is good. I loved 1 and 2, but the 3rd wasn't as good in my opinion.
Legacy of Kain all the way!!
A tomb raider/final fantasy crossover? XD
TIME SPPLITERS FOR NEW GEN< WOULD BE SICK, AND APPRECIATED!
Deus Ex 3 hooray!
I hope it's the final chapter of Legacy of Kain. We all know how it's going to end, but I still want to be able to play it before I'm in my sixties.
Tomb Raider is a great game, but I think it may be dead. If it was completely reworked then it really wouldn't be Tomb Raider anymore. I hope its a new title.
Deus Ex with the new FF engine would be sweet....
Hopefully it is a really good game. Any guess is as good as mine
It better be a next-gen TimeSplitters. Though I would rather have one by Free Radical and Crytek.
Whatever happened to Hitman 5?
form what they makes of Batman AA... their game would certainly be a sweet one.
Personally, I would just like to see some fresh blood come from them.
I Loved Deus Ex And Thief So I Can't Wait For Deus EX 3 And Theif 4
Due to their history, it would make sense for them to develop a new IP that capitalizes on each company's strong points: Eidos is solid when it comes to action/platforming (Tomb Raider, Thief, Legacy of Kain) but also has familiarity with the RPG genre, which is Square Enix's strong point. If the developers could possibly merge the concepts of an RPG and an action platformer, they could possibly strike gold on this merger of genres
LEGACY OF KAIN LEGACY OF KAIN LEGACY OF KAIN LEGACY OF KAIN LEGACY....
Get the picture?
