Them Crooked Vultures Bring Their Supergroup Sound To Rock Band

by Dan Ryckert on Nov 13, 2009 at 09:08 AM

Many fans of rock were understandably enthused when they heard about the formation of Them Crooked Vultures. After all, you've got Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme on vocals and guitar, legendary Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones doing what he does best, and Nirvana/Foo Fighter's Dave Grohl on drums. You can pick up "New Fang" for 160 Microsoft Points on November 17th, 200 Wii Points on November 24th, or $1.99 on PS3 on December 3rd.

“Them Crooked Vultures are keenly aware of the different ways in which modern music fans digest new music and are therefore especially happy to be able to offer the first single from their self-titled debut up as a downloadable Rock Band game track on the same day the album goes on sale,” stated the band.

With their album hitting stores soon (and currently streaming on their website), this should be a nice bit of promotion for the new supergroup.
