The lights are on
Last month we reported that 2K Games and Gearbox would release The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, the first in a series of DLC for Borderlands. Now we have a release date! Starting November 24th the DLC will be available for download on Xbox 360 and PS3 to extend your looting spree. The DLC will cost 800 MS Points, or for folks who follow standard currency, $9.99. There has been no word on extra content for PC.
Please bring this out for the PC. I can get enough of this game.

I think DLC is the only way I will keep leveling up my character. With all the other games out I don't have much interest in replaying it right now. But that level 50 mark is tempting me...
I'm loving Borderlands... admittedly it's getting the back burner to DA:O but still... love this game. Diablo II with guns, ftw.

i just got my platinum trophy on borderlands yesterday. hopefully ill be worn out on mw2 before the dlc for this comes out.
i hope we can finaly get some improvements to the game or atleast a new wpn element like ice

You know I was actually going to miss Left4Dead 2...until I played Borderlands :D. Glad they're releasing both DLC's on the same date, can't wait for the zombie fest!
Cool beans. I hope they do more than just add new areas. Extra element types and maybe even a new skill or two could really extend this game's life.

Sounds like fun. And considering it's for Borderlands there should be plenty of humor. Just hope it lasts more than just a few hours. Hopefully this is only the beginning. Hoping they release a large expansion like Shivering Isles for Oblivion. Gearbox created something fun and unique, now they just need to build on it.
I can't wait, it's a definite buy, by then I might be out of my MW2 coma.

@ Meagan, Not to sound like an ass but lvl 50 comes super fast lol, second half-game playthrough, if you got a good weapon will barely take a few hours xD. I solo'd to Rust West commons in a mere 3-4 hours on my siren (Then again i had 100% incinerate, i was ungodly fast and i ripped everything to shreds w/ combination of skill, speed and an incendiary smg) But nonetheless, it becomes 100x faster the more ppl you have so yeah. But Yeah i really hope they release this for PC it would be dissappointing if they don't. Then again I have a 50 siren on xbox whilea 50 berserk on PC xP.
