The lights are on
Intel and Codemasters announced the Intel Mission Contest this morning, which will eventually award two limited edition tricked-out gaming PCs to the two best Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising mod submissions. These monsters come strapped with screaming-fast Core i7-960 CPUs, which as of this writing, sell for nearly $600 for the processor alone. The third through twelfth place winners will each receive a Core i7-860 CPU, which retails for nearly $300. Finally, a bunch of Codemasters swag will be distributed -- and judging by the images on the official site, the t-shirts aren't even hideous.Qualifying mods will hilariously have to involve an Intel i7 CPU. Shoving a high-end processor into a hardcore battlefield simulation seems like an odd choice, but I guess the marketing guys at Intel have to justify their budgets somehow.

Using a high-powered computer to win a high-powered computer... Lol :-P
Wow, this contest looks interesting
I can only imagine how they will include an i7 core in their mods...
Love to win this!
